PROCEDURE TO APPLY FOR NEW ACADEMIC YEAR BEGINNING JULY 2010
The COMMITS application form for 2010 can only be submitted ONLINE. Details are given below.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES


IMPORTANT

Before filling in the online application form, please prepare a demand draft for Rs.1,000 in favour of 'COMMITS' and payable at Bangalore. Also, keep ready two recent passport-sized colour photographs, with your name written behind them.

Make sure that a good quality printer is connected to the computer you are using to submit the online application form. This will enable you to print the acknowledgement copy and send it to us along with the demand draft.

Do not press the SUBMIT button unless you have filled all the necessary information.

Do not press the SUBMIT button more than once.

All changes can be made by going to the VIEW AND EDIT page.

You are allowed to submit the application form only once. Multiple submissions will not be allowed.

The following steps are required to complete the COMMITS online application process:

1. Application fee is Rs.1,000. This application fee is not refundable. Demand draft should be taken in favour of ‘Commits’ payable in Bangalore. No cash or outstation cheques will be accepted.

Data for online application should be submitted by clicking the link given at the end; only then will it be possible for you to print the acknowledgement.

  • Payment is possible only through demand draft in favour of 'COMMITS' on any nationalised bank and payable at 'Bangalore'. The draft number, bank drawn on, draft date and amount must be entered during online submission of the application form. Write your name and application number on the back of the demand draft.

2. Filling in the online application form 

Fill in the online application form carefully. After entering all the details, preview the form. If you are satisfied that all the entries are correct, only then click on the SUBMIT button. Else go to VIEW and EDIT, to make changes or modifications.

3. Printing and affixing signature 

After the form is submitted, a dialog box will generate your Acknowledgement and Application Number and also give you the option to print the form. Click on the Print button. The printout will also have your Application NumberPlease note down this application number for future reference. Print the acknowledgement, sign it and get it countersigned by a parent or legal guardian and attach it with the demand draft. Without the signatures your application form will be void. Keep a photocopy of the acknowledgement and the demand draft for your reference.

4. Photographs

Attach 2 copies of your passport size color photograph with your name written behind them and attach it with 'acknowledgement' and 'demand draft'.

ENCLOSURES CHECKLIST

Applicants are required to compulsorily send the following documents for their online application to be valid.

1. DEMAND DRAFT or LOCAL CHEQUE FOR Rs.1,000

2. TWO PASSPORT-SIZE PHOTOGRAPHS WITH NAME WRITTEN BEHIND THEM

3. FRESHLY ATTESTED PHOTOCOPY OF BIRTH CERTIFICATE (or any legally-valid certificate bearing date of birth)

Dispatch of Acknowledgement

The printed acknowledgement along with the enclosures must be placed inside an envelope and posted/couriered within 5 working days of online submission to:
